Today I want you to research opportunities for live networking in your local area.

Find the available Le Tip, Rotary, Kiwinas, and Lions, Toastmasters, or Chamber of Commerce groups and ink one into your schedule.

When you are there, practice everything we talked about in the call on Wednesday – active listening, using their name, asking questions, giving valuable ideas/feedback when it makes sense.

Go to the event and imagine what it will be like to do a short, punchy, and valuable speech to this group.  It’s remarkable practice for bigger events when your live networking skills need to be sharp. Additionally, these meetings can open up local opportunities never before imagined.

Remember that a “Networked person never has any problem getting things done”!
